a comedy that lives up to the name.
GAYDAR by Larry LaFond
Dave Says:-

Every once in a while, along comes a comedy that actually lives up to the name of the genre and this beautifully OTT work from co-writer and star Terry Ray is a pure comical delight.

Sure it's played for laughs at every moment, but that's all part of its charm, as two bored office workers pass the day fantasying about their sexy co-worker Jack, only for out and proud gay boy Randy to become fixated on figuring out "which side of the street Jack hitches his pony," courtesy of a gaydar gun that well, says it, like it is.

Well-executed from start to finish and complete with a mock Shirley Bassey styled theme, courtesy of vibrant actress / songstress Gwen Stewart, little surprise that this cinematic gem became a firm festival favourite, given Terry Ray, alongside joint writer and director Larry LaFond go for comical gold here and frankly, bring back the prize winning medal, in a short that with Jennifer Echols equally on sparkling form, is guaranteed to tickle your chuckle muscles, just as it is certain to bring a smile to your face. Simply silly, but a lot of fun none-the-less and yes, that cutie is no other than Bryan Dattilo; aka Lucas from Days of Our Lives.
