Thirteen or So Minutes by William Branden Blinn
Official Synopsis:-

Lawrence Jefferies and Hugh Greerey have just met. They both have girlfriends ... they're both straight. Thirteen or so minutes later, however, something's happened and things have changed.

Dave Says:-

Like Marco Berger's captivating exploration of male friendship and sexuality, that is Plan B, here we find writer and director William Branden Blinn go out of his way to question society's pigeon-hole attitude toward sexual orientation and he does so beautifully.

For in what is essentially a two-man play, Blinn sets his stage by contrasting the sexually liberated mindset of one character, with the repressive nature of his opposite number, conscious of being labelled as gay, ever questioning just - how did this happen? For how do two hitherto heterosexual men end up having sex with each other? A work of fiction, or an example of the Kinsey styled sexual continuum of life?

For that is the underlying theme of this short film, namely love is where the heart is. It is a narrative that rejoices in post-sex talk, rather than the act of man-sex itself, one that and for the main part is heard, rather than seen. Naturally played by its cast of two, the result is a work that vividly details the differing reactions of two men who thirteen or so minutes beforehand, viewed themselves as heterosexual, but now find themselves open to the sexual diversity of life. The beauty of Mother nature, indeed.
