In essence, this is the tender tale of two lonely young men who meet for a night of passion, connected by way of the underground subway system, their desire for homosexual intimacy and perhaps something more. Only in the light of day after the night before, are they any more connected? Playing more like an extended music video than a short film, this dialogue free work nevertheless offers a series of beautiful, if at times homoerotic moments of young love. Yet this tale of lust, love and parting is so intercut, that you’re never quite sure whether the paths and every pun intended, of these two young men are destined to cross again on the network of life? Shot in both colour and striking monochrome, little else need be said, given devotees of the medium will no doubt have noticed that this work saw Dustin Varpness play gay again, having previously starred in the short Dirty Love; that of the story of a seductive hustler with a heart.
