speed-dating your way to love; gay style.
Rapid Guy Movement by Sean Michael Beyer From co-writer and director Sean Michael Beyer of Poor Paul fame came this short film guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. And it all revolves around Leo; a good looking guy hoping to find the one courtesy of the services of "MasterDate" and yes, the read the name right; a speed-dating service that star of the show Leo is dubious about joining.

Tired of being forever single in the city and encouraged by the soothing vocal tones of host with the most Zack, Leo nervously takes his seat, only to be greeted by an assortment of men and a brief dialogue that results with a YES or NO being placed against them, dating wise. Yet come the end of the night and with his score card devoid of a single YES, it would appear that Cupid’s arrow went amiss on this occasion. Or did it?

In many ways, this is the short film equivalent of the perfect date movie; that of a self-contained story beautifully executed, that tells of the pros and cons of speed-dating, with a spoof slant to it. Add in a bit of fantasy here and there, a cast who play the narrative for all its worth and the guarantee that love will air before the end credits roll and hey - what’s not to like?
