Seemingly out of place amongst the buffed to perfection studs getting it on at his local gay club, bearded Terry (Marcus Proctor) returns home both rejected and dejected. Seeking solace in a choice between a bit of sexual DIY, a takeaway - escort style or an online dating agency, Terry opts for the latter and the services of ManFinder.com. Only this is a site with a difference. For is he hallucinating or what, but this site is actually talking to him, along the way offering to turn Terry into the user profile he enters and put it this way, having typed in the words "fit, sexy, hung," surely this new Terry is destined to find the man he is searching for? Yes, you're guessed it, for this is yet another play on the good old fashioned Cinderella scenario of the search for Mr Right before the clock runs out, one that is but a cinematic ploy to showcase the complexities and indeed very short comings of the body conscious, seemingly size obsessed, gay world. What is surprising however is that whilst hardly original and here cue the Seamus Rea short Two Minutes After Midnight, the central "it's what's on the inside that counts" message of this work is delivered by way of Eurocreme Productions; a company known more for "it's what's hung on the outside, that sells" erotica. That said, director and co-writer Max Barber does a good job here, given this is but twenty minutes worth of enjoyable, if clichéd gay entertainment, packed by no surprise with, well, the crème of Euro. On a deeper level however, it just goes to show that even those who are very good looking and hung, whilst guaranteed to find sex, are not necessarily certain to find love.
