Dave says: Produced as part of the eight episode Israeli television series Confess, as based on a series of real life confessions, this well-played work, like the balance of the series, showcases the lives of strangers who meet through a dating app, only to find themselves pushed to the extremes of their sexual boundaries. And no more so here, where two young Israelis up for a threesome find themselves instead spending the night with a German tourist who happens to be into everything - they aren't. Yet for all of the S&M styled sexuality of the piece, the short itself is ironically shot strictly from the waist up, with even the opening penile selfie pixellated out, so as not to offend its television audience. An odd situation, given the explicit nature of the narrative. That one of the Israeli boys clearly wants to leave, whilst the other longs to stay, curious to know what's next in the Germans' bag of masochistic tricks, makes for a cautionary tale on the dangers of the anonymous hook-up, where strangers meet for sex, only and as in this case, for none to end up getting what they were expecting.
