Official Synopsis:
When Pedro gets home at dawn exhausted, he is dragged to the beach by his loving mother. Initially reluctant, his interest is peaked when he catches the eye of a handsome stranger by the water.

Not to be confused with the acclaimed HIV-positive biopic of the same name by Nick Oceano, this short film is essentially a variant on the "sun, sea and sex" scenario. Along the way, it presents us with two characters who seemingly have little in common with each other; that of a loving mother and her oversexed son who has little interest in his mothers' desire to spend the day at the beach; preferring instead to take part in web cam styled sex shows. Yet at the beach he finds himself. Bored and with seemingly little to perk his interest, all that is set to change when a sexy stranger emerges from the sea, along the way letting his naked body do the talking. And no surprises for guessing what it has to say, as the two head off to quieter parts to get up closer and personal with each other. Only Pedro is not the only one seeking the company of men that day, as his mother is soon make the acquaintance of a handsome stranger.
And therein lies the common ground between mother and son; that of a deep desire to be loved, or for that one brief moment to feel loved. Yet their relationship is an atypical one, given an earlier shower scene and blatant lack of privacy therein makes you wonder just how close is / was the relationship between the two? That said, this is a well-executed work, with Filipe Abreu in the title role, alongside his beach lover, giving their all to the part, making this a short film that is proudly gay to its sensuous core.
