Official Synopsis:
A dreary school day in 1992. "Cool kid" Drew is James' sexual fantasy, but Drew is also James' bully. In a single moment, James faces off against both Drew the bully and Drew the fantasy. But is it enough to reclaim his dignity?

Rounding off a series of reviews that chart the physical and mental impact of homophobic bullying, this wondrous short delights in turning the issue on its head, by way of the victim getting back at his abuser.
Only it's a bit more complicated than that, given picked upon James is secretly in love with the boy whose daily task is to make his life a misery. Yet such hasn't prevented James from fantasizing about the way it could have been, had they both been playing on the same team. Nor has it stopped him from sticking up for himself; punches at the ready fashion. Yet why get into a fight, when lips can do so much more?
Directed and co-written by Philip J. Connell, frankly there's a lot going for this short, thanks largely to natural interplay between stars of the show Eden Ocean Sanders as James and Ben Hargreaves as the boy who perhaps doth protest too much? True, the idea does seem a bit odd, that of a love / hate relationship between victim and bully, but then such is the way it's played, juxtaposing sexual fantasy with harsh reality, that it does make you question if there could be more to Drew's bullying, than meets the eye. Whatever, it's upbeat conclusion is a delight, given here the victim, like the viewer, leaves with a smile on his face. Now there's a refreshing change, I hear you add.
